The location is excellent with several restaurants within walking distance. The pool is kid friendly as is the entire property. For what I paid, it was a nice place to stay for 3 nights. I mostly spent my days at Disney parks, so I wasn't in my room for much besides sleeping and showering. The Fairfield is located about 1. Disney property, right off of I- 4. The hotel property is gated and also includes 2 other hotels.

You need to stop at the guard gate to get inside, or use a room key to return. The sink is separate from the shower and toilet area, so it's convenient if you're sharing the room. The bed sheets were too small bed because every night, the bottom corners would slip off, even though I was sleeping alone in my bed. The water pressure in the shower was fine, and it always had hot water. The free wifi connected easily, with moderate speed.

I couldn't figure out how to properly set the temperature without having to switch between cool and heater. For instance, I wanted the room at 7. To raise it, you had to put the heater on to raise the temperature but it would blow hot air through the room.

If you left it on cool air, it wouldn't raise the temperature above 7. The hotel hallways were also an ice box when you walk through them. They served pork and turkey sausages, eggs, oatmeal, various cereals, yogurt, and had 4 waffle makers. Breakfast was from 6- 9: 3. Seating gets filled, but I didn't have a problem finding space. Because it shares the property with 2 other hotels, it's very difficult finding parking if you take your car to the parks.

If you return after 1. BJ's restaurant. It departs at select times, and you must be on time for departure to get on the bus. I didn't take it, but I saw it around on the property. I just needed a bed and shower. It's definitely not the worst place to stay near Disney; it's clean and convenient.

Location to Disney attractions and my daughters Disney housing was excellent . Coffee was better than expected. We switched rooms as soon as we checked into the first room given to us on the 3rd floor . Tub was disgusting . Fitted sheets kept coming off after use .

Our rooms were not cleaned on day 1 until I called . Sink got clogged , toilet made noise after each use which lingered to keep u up .

It was ridiculous. I'm very sorry that I did . Free breakfast, coffee and Wi- fi all a plus. Room was just ok.

All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Less than 1. 0 minutes from Disney. Walking distance to many stores, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend for all of the above!

This hotel in a nutshell is average. Located in Marriott village as 1 of the 3 hotels featured here. Centrally located by most of the major attractions the hotel for a lack of a better word is . There are 2 Microwaves in the lobby area. One located in the corner market and the other at the very far end of the breakfast area out of sight. The shower curtains also had mold spots.

The toilet seat wouldn't stay up so doing #1 was a challenge. If you show up an hour before breakfast is over good luck finding a seat and be patient when waiting to use the toaster and waffle maker.

If your room is located by this elevator I would use the other 3 elevators that are located on the other side and walk a little. I feel as if they could add an extra 3. I can guarantee that this hotels parking lot results in more car door scratches than any other parking lot in central Florida. The rooms and beds are small and old so your .

The biggest issue is that the doors are locked from the inside! With the exception of the main door, you need your room card to exit the lobby!!! So if there is an emergency, like a soccer team trips the fire alarm, you can't safely exit without your room key out and ready!!!! That's crazy!!! And yes, has happened! We were told it's new management. I asked if they were fixing the safety issues and he said no, not managements chief concern..

It was the worst. I will never stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately this is a tourist hotel, everything within a 2. Disney is a blood bath, and I should have realized but I was blinded by the prices. I hate children and this hotel screams tourist attraction due to its location 3 minutes away from Disney. They also charged me $8.

I booked 8 nights for 7. They charged my card 5.

Absolute worst. We had a nice stay here for one night. At first glance of my room everything looked fine. However, when showering I noticed mold on the shower curtain, around the bottom of the hand holder in the shower. No big deal. The biggie was trying to get our tickets for the park shuttle. When we checked in they told us . So I wake up at 6: 5.

When they opened they told me the only available shuttle was at 1. I wanted the 8am I should have reserved it the day before. Didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or help me find an alternative solution. If you want to stay at a good hotel that's reasonably priced stay at one of the other 2 hotels that are in the same round about. I was bumped to the Fairfield after the Courtyard that I reserved was overbooked. Although I wasn't too happy about getting bumped and charged Courtyard prices at a Fairfield, I had to make due for the 4 hours of sleep that I was there to get.

Elevators sound like the tower of terror, shaking, stalling etc. I took them twice and the rest of the time took the stairs. Room smelled musty.

The bathtub floor was scratched and black. I used my sandals on top of a towel to bathe in the AM. Will not be back here at all.

This is a nice place for the money we paid. Rooms are very clean and well maintained.

Hamet at front desk was very helpful. We even got an upgraded room. The Marriott village and other hotels around felt good. Breakfast needs a special mention.

It was way above my expectations of a free breakfast! This saves so much time so we can enjoy Orlando theme parks. My bad, but we did enjoy our stay here. We had to go downstairs to have that changed out and then had to go down two more times because our keys did not open the room door. The wallpaper in the hallway was being held up by tape including some of the signs let you know your room number was also taped up.

The rooms look old the breakfast was nothing to brag about. Also they were in the middle of construction bottom line I will never book at this particular hotel again. Didn't even want to shower there. Also reakfast is not in the building but in the other hitel.

Just outside the Downtown Disney area, and right off of I- 4, you'll find the Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista. This hotel complex contains three Marriott hotels - - a Marriott Courtyard, a Springhill Suites, and the Marriott Fairfield Inn. I've stayed at all three of these properties over the years, and keep going back to the Fairfield Inn whenever I'm in the Disney area. During the off- season, Fairfield is just over $1. You're within 5 minutes of Downtown Disney, but a world away from the traffic and noise.

There's plenty of space to stretch out and watch TV in the evenings, catch up on Emails, and then collapse into one of those famous Marriott super comfortable beds. There's also a very helpful Orlando tourism concierge to answer questions about the parks and attractions, and help you to secure reservations as well as purchase tickets to the parks.

Turning left out of the Marriott Village will take you to the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall, and there are lots of choices in that area as well. DO NOT fill up at the Shell station opposite the main gate of Marriott Village. This guy regularly charges $6 a gallon, when then nearby stations are charging significantly less. Don't get suckered into this tourist trap!!!!

I don't know why, but I expected a little more from Fairfield since it was owned by Marriott. I think much of my opinion is in line with other yelpers here. The hotel does seem quite dated, and the service was not super friendly. I feel like every encounter we had with front desk was below average in terms of service. The last day we were checking out, we had already requested late check- out during our check in, and they said . Of course after 1. We went downstairs to clear up the mistake and they gave us another key to get back into our room to pack up our stuff.

The new key didn't work.. Our smelled really funky when we opened it so we avoided using it when possible. During my 8 night stay there last week, the price was around $1. I was trying to save money on the hotel during this trip, but considering what we got out of it, I wish I booked the Courtyard (right next door) instead.

The service and staff was much nicer and the hotel looked more updated, and cleaner. Everyday is the same thing: scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs, sausage patty, bagels, bread, 3 cereal options, yogurt, and some fruit. Coffee, juice and milk also available. It's no bad if you don't care what you have for breakfast. There was one more when we were surprised they swapped out the sausage patties for sausage gravy with biscuits. But the pick up times were limited.

Morning drop off were: 8am, 9: 2. Leaving the park to come back is 6pm, 7: 3. Additional hours will be given at the front desk if Magic Kingdom is open later that day.

They also have shuttle service to Universal Studios, Orlando for $1. The shuttle leaves that park at 7pm, so get there early if you can to see/do everything you want to.
